Revitalizing app engagement: Vi's journey towards multifaceted benefits

Problems
  • With more partnerships, Vi’s approach apart from improving it’s service was to increase the value provided to the customer base by providing free/trial memberships to partner products within the app - something we had to solve for.

  • The homepage’s design is very functional and does not allow for much engagement except wrt prepaid/postpaid status changes. New partnerships through Hungama Music & Vi Rise would create engagement avenues which compelled us to rethink the navigation structure of the homepage & it’s non-scrollable design.

  • From a business perspective, there is little to zero space to have ad revenue generation avenues except the banner rail.

Solution


We decided to redesign the homepage & create a larger canvas customers to scroll through while also subtly nudging customers to access the new partner integrations on the Vi™ App.
